Maschinenfabrik Herbert MEYER GmbH has supported 1. FC Rötz with a generous donation of 1000 euros. The reason for the donation is the 100th anniversary of the main club, which will be celebrated in 2019. The club, which comprises seven sub-divisions such as soccer, judo, table tennis and gymnastics, is planning a big anniversary celebration in June 2019 as part of the local festival.

During the transfer, Managing Director Thomas C. Meyer emphasized how important it is to him to support popular sport, as it makes an important contribution to health and well-being. MEYER Machines also pays attention to the physical fitness of its employees through company health management.

The club representatives expressed their gratitude and reported that preparations for the celebrations are already in full swing, including a commemorative publication on the club’s history and the expansion of the sports home.
