The Cham IHK committee, chaired by Dr. Alois Plößl, recently met at MEYER Machines to discuss cooperation with the Cham Technology Campus. Prof. Wolfgang Aumer, the head of the Technology Campus, presented the alignment of the campus and the numerous opportunities for cooperation. The potential for regional companies to benefit from the campus through joint projects and access to highly qualified persons was particularly emphasized.

Panel member Michael Schindler also provided information on the potential impact of Brexit on companies in the district and emphasized the need to prepare for all eventualities. Managing Director Thomas C. Meyer gave the panel participants a tour of the MEYER Machines production halls and presented the world’s leading machines for the treatment of materials such as carbon fibers.
