he two M-grade classes from Waldmünchen secondary school recently visited Maschinenfabrik Herbert MEYER GmbH to gain an insight into the world of work. The more than 40 students were warmly welcomed by plant manager Johann Bierl and introduced to the company through an image film. This concluded with a detailed tour of the production departments, where the students learned more about the metalworking processes, control cabinet construction and assembling.

The Test Center, where various materials are tested on MEYER machines, aroused particular interest. The pupils were able to ask numerous questions and were given an insight into the eight apprenticeships on offer at MEYER Machines. The day ended with a shared snack and small gifts.
