The newly elected entrepreneurs of the Cham Chamber of Industry and Commerce committee recently met for their constituent meeting to set the course for the next five years. Dr. Alois Plößl, who was unanimously confirmed as Chairman, emphasized the importance of the new members, who enrich the committee with their diverse perspectives and expertise. Together with his deputies and the IHK management, Plößl will focus on topics such as securing skilled workers, digitalization and regional infrastructure.

There is a particular focus on securing skilled workers, as the Cham region has one of the lowest unemployment rates in Germany. Cooperation between entrepreneurs, politics and administration is to be reinforced in order to further strengthen Cham as a location and make it more attractive beyond the region.
