Calender

MEYER offers custom-designed roller calenders as 2-roller or 3-roller systems.
To activate the lamination process, a gas flame or infrared heating can be used. Additionally, thermal oil heating for the rollers is also available. Optional features include material storage, J-box, tensioning frame, corona treatment, edge control, and measuring rollers to ensure controlled tensile stress of the lamination material.

Thermoplastic adhesive is best treated in powder form. The use of adhesive powder is cheaper than hotmelt, films or webs and also offers the option of reacting quickly to changes in width or grammage.

To buffer roll changes or shorter downtimes, accumulators in various designs such as roller conveyors or Z-boxes are used. MEYER offers various types of storage when planning the lines.

Roll-off device

With the "roll to roll" process, the spectrum ranges from mechanically or pneumatically braked roll-off devices to winders with magnetic particle brakes and motorized roll-off devices.

Winder

The innovative winders from MEYER are all built in accordance with the EU standard DIN EN 13418:2013 (circumferential force > 150N) and therefore comply with the latest safety standards. The positioning on rollers or rails makes rewinding even more flexible.

Automation

MEYER relies on industrial robots and pick-and-place systems with suction cups, clamping or needle grippers for moving, depositing and stacking large panels. Even smaller parts can be handled flexibly and easily programmed by cobots.

Conveyor belts

MEYER offers conveyor belts from 400 mm to 3000 mm width made of plastic, PTFE glass fabric, grid or textile. They can be combined with automation technology, sensors, detectors and air systems.

Stacker

Stacker systems serve to relieve the strain on operating personnel. They systematically place the parts and stack them fully automatically after the laminating process.
