Thermoforming: Ideal for molding in series
MEYER offers innovative thermoforming solutions for a wide range of automotive interior applications, including headliners, carpets, trunk linings and more. Our expertise lies in material handling and automation, as confirmed by the trust that well-known manufacturers place in our lines.

The panel is positioned on the positioning table and cut to size. After heating in the heating station, it is processed in the molding press with the desired contour. Active grippers stretch the material at critical points, thus reducing costs and waste. We offer various systems for automated material transport. Part removal, palletizing and integration into further process steps are also possible.

Thermal embossing: Ideal for the permanent embossing of textiles
MEYER’s hot stamping presses enable thermoformable stamping, forming and punching in a single step, with the punched edges being heat-sealed, eliminating the need for subsequent edge processing. This technology is typically used in the production of engine compartment insulation, seat covers and car interior fabrics to give textiles an attractive appearance. MEYER offers different press concepts that can be adapted to your project requirements.

Maximum press force
In contrast to thermoforming, the material is subjected to such high thermal stress during thermoembossing that it loses its resilience and the embossed pattern remains fused. This process makes it possible to permanently emboss patterns and contours into the materials in rapid strokes.

Thermoconsolidation: Ideal for the production of composite materials
The discontinuous consolidation presses from MEYER work with particularly high pressures and temperatures of up to 400°C. This allows them to process materials such as CFRP fabrics and thermoplastic organo-sheets. The lines use an intermittent process that feeds the materials through heating and cooling presses in order to heat and consolidate them in a targeted manner.

Maximum temperature
The materials pass through several heating and cooling presses. This discontinuous process allows them to be heated-up, pressed or cooled down in the individual steps in order to obtain the desired product. Depending on the requirements, the process can be carried out using panel material or from roll to roll.

Thermo-printing: Ideal for color brilliance and scratch resistance
MEYER’s sublimation process enables vivid and color-intensive prints on various materials such as fabrics, carpets and coated plastics. The printers penetrate deep into the material structure, making the pressure particularly scratch-resistant and UV-resistant. This technique is ideal for products such as wooden toys, skis, snowboards, tiles, lacquered metals, flags and T-shirts.

Maximum temperature
In the heating press, the thermo-printing carrier material is heated-up together with the material to be printed. Due to the high temperatures and pressure, the ink pigments change into a gaseous state and penetrate deep into the material to be printed. The ink is then fused in a cooling press.

Laboratory press: Ideal for flexible applications
The modular laboratory presses from MEYER offer you the opportunity to develop your machine with high pressures of up to 200 N/cm² and temperatures of up to 400 °C. Thanks to their modular concept, the presses can be used as heating presses or molding presses. They also offer the optimum solution on a small scale with compact transport systems. They are also energy-efficient and economical thanks to their low acquisition costs.
